Recovered file from iCloud

My client accidentally deleted important files from his Mac. We found them in iCloud and restored them. Where did they go? I can find them if I type in the name of the file but we need to find 54 of them.
Thanks...I'm a PC girl so don't know Macs well. He is using macOS Sierra.

Thanks...that will be helpful information for my client as the Sierra OS is all new to him.

I have searched for a file in iDrive and found it but is there an easy way to find all the files that were just recovered or do we need to remember the name of all of them?  He wants them all in one folder in his document folder.
What do you see when you open iDrive in your Mac?

You should see two folders called Desktop and Documents.

Open the above folders and see whether you can see the restored files.

A few of the restored files (I have not searched for all of them since I don't know all the names) simply show up in iCloud Drive not in the Desktop or Documents folders. They were originally stored in a folder on his desktop but he had deleted that folder.

Separate question. Some file show up in the iCloud Drive Document folder and they are greyed out...what does that mean?

I do not have access to a Mac in my workplace.

Try to use the hidden Finder Path Bar to show the path of the restored files.

Greyed out means that the file has not been uploaded to iCloud.

Jackie Man, my client simply dropped and dragged the recovered files to the folder that he wanted them stored to. Thank you for your help!
