Exchange 2016 : Multiple mailbox configuring for Single user

Dears,

We have few users that should have multiple mailboxes as they handle two domains for example.
nishanth@abc.com and nishanth@xzy.com.
When I try to configure shared mailbox for this we have an issue that from mobile, the user can't configure multiple mailboxes.

So as a solution I have to create two users in AD nishanth and nishanth1 and configure the mailbox accordingly.

But the problem is that when the user needs to change the password he need to change the password for both mailboxes manually.

Do anyone have a better solution for this.

Regards
Nishanth

Hello Nishanth,

By design you can configure single mailbox in ActiveSync. you cannot add additional mailbox account or Additional shared mailbox. this is by design.

Kumar
I got the above points. Now how can I achieve this so with single mailbox with multiple alias

Add multiple alias to that user. i.e. john@adc.com and john@xyz.com.
Yea now I am able to configure the above but there is an issue with aliasing. The reply address will be primary address only. Then there is no point of creating Aliasing

Have you tried implementing certificate based authentication(CBA).  Once the credentials are authenticated they will not be prompted again even after a password change.

What flavor of exchange are we working with?
@MacGyver80

Will this work from mobile also. The other case we can manage the login for second user password never expires.
