Yes. I sync Calendar appointments and Contacts between iPhone SE (6s) and Outlook 2016 using iTunes.

iTunes, Sync, Info (left side menu) and make your selections on the right. iPhone does have tasks or notes the way Outlook does task and notes, and so you cannot sync these two things. You used to be able to but Apple removed the capability.

Yes, we can also sync iPhone Calendar appointments and Contacts to Outlook using iCloud.  That is not what we are  looking for.   We're referring to the iphone apps "Reminders" and  "Tasks" created in iPhone; those are the one we want to also appear in Outlook apps:

iPhone Reminders = Outlook Calander

iPhone Tasks = Outlook Tasks

(hope this helps explain)

Calendar reminders are synced (along with Calendars). I do this routinely (daily). Also Contacts.

But not tasks or notes. As noted Apple removed that ability.

How is your IPhone mail profile configured?
Is this a Active Sync connection?

Just add your Hotmail (Outlook.com) account in both your iPhone and MS Outlook and the Reminder can be synced.

Have you tried the Outlook add-in below?

No, but just went into and is  what we are looking for.  Wanted NOT to install 3rd party add-in but seems have to do it.
