Buffalo Linkstation NAS question
I have a client who had some Internet issues yesterday and while on the phone with her ISP, she apparently began unplugging power to various random devices, unfortunately including her Buffalo Linkstation NAS.
Apparently she felt it was not coming back online, so someone in her office pressed the "Function" button. He says the LED changed color (can't remember what color) but at any rate, the NAS is just flashing a red LED.
This NAS has info already stored on it. What's the best way to proceed without jeopardizing data?
Thanks.

There was never an issue with the unit - the customer had powered it up with the wrong power adapter.
you can also look in the manual for the meaning of the red light -see page 188 and following - or look in the nas navigator, it shows the errors
