asked on

trace / track unauthorized remote accesses to corporate network

There have been vendors accesses via Rdp & Teamviewer with internal staffs help :
staff use a broadband (Guest network & 4G) to connect their laptop to & their LAN
to the corporate network.

How can I thoroughly trace these down & block them?

Certainly they'll need sort of accounts to login, right?

Teamviewer & Rdp are just 2 examples;  I won't know if the apps teams are using webex, TightVNC or any other tools
to link up external vendors to the corporate network.

Well, let's ask the level of trust you have because of the fact there may be legitimate reasons that vendors may actually have to connect to user's workstations.

If there are legit reasons, they have to seek IT Security Compliance approval to connect but
in such cases, to amend the ACL/firewall rules, it may take a while : possibly I'll need something
that can be permitted more rapidly with little risk.
