When I connect to an open network, I get the below message

One other thing to check that can invalidate a certificate.
Ensure the date and time on your computer is correct.
Otherwise it sounds like you may be connecting to a rogue wifi network.
Don't use it. Any communications could be compromised

1. If your system is up to date especially for the latest certificates.
2. If you are using an unknown DNS server. If the DNS is polluted, it might point your well-known servers to incorrect IPs at where malicious certificates may be deployed.
