Making SSRS Parameters optional
HI,
I have a parameter, that has multiple values. I tried to allow it to have null or blank value, but it says I can't do that with multiple values selected. I want to make the parameter optional to the users, because they may not always want to select it.
In the attached file, there are the parameters the user has to select. Products, and EventDetails need to be optional parameters

If you post the SQL you have, I could revised it such that when a criteria is not selected, it will be simply ignored. In this example, you may just specify Start Date and Region. It will filter accordingly but ignore the other 3 unless you specify them as well.
