I have a Windows 2016 SMTP server that wont deliver email to external domains. All of these emails stay in the mailroot/queue folder - until they time out.<br />

Email sent to our internal domain, are delivered almost instantly.<br />
<br />
I have run the SMTPDIAG tool and all is green until it tries to connect to the Hotmail mail servers. I am getting Connecting to mx1.hotmail.com [65.55.82.184] on port 25<br />
Connecting to the server failed. Error: 10061<br />
Failed to submit mail to MX1.hotmail.com<br />

Have cleaned up DNS. Not sure what else to check.
