Authentication required Outlook 2016 on Quickbooks emails
We have a system that was upgraded to Office 2016 from 2010. We thought this issue may have been PC related so we built a new PC with Windows 10 and Office 2016 fresh installed. The problem duplicated itself. Here is the info:
Anytime an invoice is sent from Quickbooks 2017 using Outlook 2016, the email gets an Undeliverable message moments later with the following:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients
530 5.7.0 Authentication required
We are using MDaemon Outlook connector 4.0
I have checked the connector settings and SMTP Server requires authentication is checked and use same authentication as incoming server is checked.
All other emails work fine. Only emails sent through Quickbooks are an issue.

Outlook is selected. When you click Email invoice, it pops up the Outlook window with the email address and everything. I also tried just that, sending to my own email address instead of what was on file for the user and get the same bounce back.
Set up a new, test Windows User Profile (Account). Log into the new Windows Account, set up Outlook and test QuickBooks.

Already did that before we built the new PC. Same issue on different profile and 2 different PC's with this setup.

We also had the issue with Outlook 2013 before we went with 2016. The only way it worked was with Outlook 2010 but we had a lot of freezing issues with the shared calendar on 2010.

I have an email ticket in with the email provider. Glad to know the setup works and it's probably an issue on their end. Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the update and I do hope you can get it resolved.
Make sure Outlook has been selected in QuickBooks Preferences. It may have been changed.
Make sure the QB Email address is correct. Try emailing from QB via Outlook to an email address you type in.
When I do this, the Outlook Message form shows up.
