Hp mouse click

Hi all

Have a hp laptop where the left mouse click does not seen to work, ive installed all driver updates and win10 updates still
same problem any suggestions

Try with another USB mouse and connect it directly to USB port.

yes usb mouse works fine its the left click next to the touch pad

So, left click on touch pad is not working, right ?

Create a new user account as Administrator, switch into it and retest,

if that didn't help then try a Windows 10 Repair Install with an In-place Upgrade, it takes a while but might fix the problem.

You will not lose any data files or Apps if you follow the Instructions.

Go to the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool from this link:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Click on Download Tool Now, save it on desktop, then run it as Administrator, accept license agreement, then Choose

Upgrade This PC Now, let Windows to Update drivers. make sure that Keep Personal Files and Apps is

Selected and let the Windows do the rest.
