Windows Update Error Code 8000FFFF
Hello,
I am trying to install KB4019264 update on Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (x64) desktop but it getting failed with Error Code 8000FFFF.
However, I have taken the below mentioned troubleshooting steps on the desktop but no success.
1) Tried to installed the KB4019264 update from the Windows Update website but it failed with above mentioned error code.
2) Download and manually tried to install the update on the desktop but it failed with the same error. (As per the Windowsupdate.log).
3) I booted the desktop in the CleanBoot Mode and tried to install the update but failed.
4) Ran the System File Checker tool on the desktop but the Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
5) Ran the Check Disk command in Read-Only mode on this desktop but no bad sector detected.
6) Ran the Windows Update Troubleshooter.
7) Reset the Windows Update components.
Note: Windows Update Agent is already updated with the latest available version on the desktop.
