You could try resetting the JetDirect to factory settings and configuring it again. You also may want to take a look at how spooling is set up.<br />

John's suggestion of directly connecting the printer isn't a bad one. However, I have dealt with a few parallel printers that won't work with the adapters (just a forewarning, not a discouragement).

We have an Okidata ML420 connected to the network via an HP 170 Jet Direct. &nbsp;It will work for months and then only print part of the print job. &nbsp; I have to uninstall it and reinstall it. &nbsp;<br />
The network is Win 2008 R2. &nbsp;The printer is installed on a Hyper-V VM. &nbsp;I wasn't using a Print server, previously, but today I set one up. &nbsp; I'm not physically at the office so I don't know if this will help.<br />

Okidata ML420 won't complete a print job

A printer is a peripheral which makes a persistent human readable representation of graphics or text on paper or similar physical media. Traditional printers are being used more for special purposes, like printing photographs or artwork, and are no longer a must-have peripheral; 3D printing has become an area of intense interest, allowing the creation of physical objects. Administration and configuration of the host OS and the guest virtual machines is generally done over the network.
