Is Bonjour files necessory
Are there great benefits to keeping Bonjour programs on my computer. I do not understand how it benefits me. Is it network sharing?

It is no bother to have it, nothing goes wrong, so just leave it as part of iTunes (because it will always return when you update).
Bonjour is not necessary. It's noisy, like the old appletalk.
FWIW, Bonjour got screwed up / uninstalled a couple of years ago on my Windows machine and iPhone would NOT sync. Reinstall iTunes fixed and all items including Bonjour were back.
That is my experience and so I see NO reason to uninstall. It is not broken and I see no traffic in Comm View (packet sniffer).

Bonjour is part of iTunes and can be happily left installed.
