remote desktop connection - kicked off
hi experts,
ok, so myself and some other users use remote desktop connection to connect to some servers. but for example if i'm working on a server , someone else can just kick me off . Is there a way to avoid that? or send a message before kicking someone off?

Don't you get the option to deny the connection because you would get a prompt unless if you're using the same credentials as the others (e.g. other admins and using admin) then you would get disconnected.

Hi Frank
If you are all using the same credentials, this will be the root cause to this issue.
When another user RDP's to the server you are on with the same credentials, it will essentially transfer that session to the other machine as it believes you are the same person. The 1st user will receive no prompt. . The only way to solve this would be to use different credentials, in my opinion this would be best practice anyway as it allows precise auditing to who did what and when. With a generic account, this makes investigating any user activity increasingly difficult.
