Nikon Coolpix P900 versus mirrorless cameras and digital single lens reflex (DSLR)
I am looking for the best flexibility for the money. I see it may cost upward of $600 to get a complete setup for the Nikon Coolpix P900.
What broader options to I have? It seems, multiple lenses would be useful. Like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CQJHJ2E/ref=s9_acsd_top_hd_bw_bCf6T_c_x_3_w?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-4&pf_rd_r=7Q91KRWBTPT978JNBWFR&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=87d2a035-5f2a-50a4-93d7-a2960559aa53&pf_rd_i=3017941
And if I were to buy a model that was state of the art 3 or 5 years ago, I wold expect to see more of them selling used on Ebay.
Suggestions?
Thanks

Sorry, I forgot...
I need to take pictures daily detailed from about 3 miles away. And I am looking for the most affordable options. It seems multiple lenses give more options, but may come at the cost of neither lense being as good as the Nikon Coolpix P900.

Thanks. Any comparative analysis with other brands and other models?
For example, I have no idea if these are comparable:

as i mentioned above, the Nikon Coolpix P900 does not support RAW format

What does RAW format do?

As a photographer you should always aim to “get it right in camera.” As a self-taught photographer I know that this can be difficult at first. This is why shooting in Raw is essential.
You get a second chance to get it right—first chance when you take the picture; second chance when you edit the picture inside the Raw converter.
Which is really helpful when you are still learning to nail the perfect exposure! If you overexposed or underexposed your photo, you will be able to recover details and rescue what, otherwise, may be lost. In other words, you can make a decent photo out of a not-so-decent one, which is fantastic.
