Backup software solution for IBM Domino 9.0.1 FP4+ server.
Hello everyone,
I'm struggling with search of reliable backup software that supports backup of IBM Domino 9.0.1 FP4+ servers (Windows x86/x64).
Important notice - installed on physical, not virtual servers.
I will check for over 15 known (for me) backup software solutions and not a single one support Domino. Some still offers support for older Domino 8.0.x, 8.5.x. Some like Veritas Backup Exec (in older version 15) supporting up to 9.0.1 FP4 (with limitations) but in newer version completely ditch Agent for Domino and not supporting any version of Domino. Even IBM own Tivoli Storage Manager are left Domino support at old versions 8.0.x (which is more funny they upgrading support for Exchange competition). Veritas NetBackup 8.0 (form my deployments horribly expensive) has very strange mention of Domino in the documentation - they not mentioning any specific Domino version and called agent "for Lotus Notes" which name are long time ditched in favor of IBM Domino/ IBM Notes so it was rather looks like support for some very old Domino infrastructure.
Please let me know if you know a way to backup Domino using any legitimate backup software.
p.s.
I know article about three ways how to backup Domino using standard backup software (1. "live" with high possibility of db crash on restore, 2. shutting down the server for backup, 3. semi secure - with dropping db connections). Thats really not wnat I'm looking for.
thanks in advance for any
