Hi. I created an ODBC connection on my crystal reports server, which is also a SQL-Express server, to a database on a different SQL server on my network. &nbsp;The connection tested successful in DSN config. &nbsp;I created a new report in Crystal Reports though and my new connection wasn't visible in the ODBC connection type. &nbsp;Both servers are running SQL 2012. &nbsp;What am I missing? &nbsp;Should I use OLE DB connection instead of ODBC? &nbsp;I do have roughly 10 or 12 other local ODBC connections setup on my crystal server for reporting purposes if that makes any difference. &nbsp;Crystal version is developer edition 11.5. &nbsp;thanks

database does not exist in Crystal Reports

Crystal Reports is a business intelligence application from SAP SE. It is used to graphically design data connections and report layouts from a wide range of data sources including Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, SQL Server databases and Access databases, BusinessObjects Enterprise business views, and local file-system information. Report designers can place fields from these sources on the report design surface, and can also deploy them in custom formulas (using either BASIC or Crystal's own syntax), which are then placed on the design surface. Crystal Reports also supports subreports, graphing, and a limited amount of GIS functionality.
