RDS/RemoteApp Reconnection Attempts
Have a 2012 R2 Hyper V VM that is running a very light (5 user) load that I am seeing some abnormalities with.
I am able to reproduce this issue.
If I open a regular RDP from my laptop to the 2012VMTS - no issues - can work as needed
If I switch off my wireless card to simulate a network/ping drop, I am met immediately with a Remote Desktop Disconnected error (the connection to the network computer was lost...) and no reconnection attempts happen.
If I open a regular RDP from my laptop to other machines in my network (regardless if they are physical 2012R2/virtual 2012R2/physical 2008R2/virtual 2008R2 - I am met with an expected message - connection has been lost - attempting to reconnect - then the normal count (to 20 typically) to reconnect. This is what I am looking for in my above 2012 R2 Hyper V VM box - so that the RDP session has some resiliency to ping loss but not getting it.
Any ideas?
