IE11, Google Search and "I am not a robot" reCAPTCHA

I am wrestling with a reproducible problem on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit PCs wherein a Google search (www.google.com) generated from an IE11 browser results in an annoying reCAPTCHA "I am not a robot" pop-up.

Google would have me believe that this is being caused by excessive traffic from our IP address.  If that was true, then the same reCAPTCHA should pop up when doing a Google search from Chrome or Firefox browsers.  This does not happen.  THe problem also does not happen on a server in the same network and same public IP that is using IE9.

All affected machines are free from malware and otherwise have no problems.  Clearing and resetting the IE11 browser to original defaults does not fix the problem.

Ideas, suggestions, recommendations please.

Thank you.

Eric.
