This plug-in is not support while browsing to banking web site, why?
This is an attempt to browse to the bank of Scotland - https://banking.bankofscotland.co.uk; the main page can be accessed without problem. However, when attempt to access the page - smartcard login, I was prompted with a blank screen with wording - This plug-in is not support. I am using google chrome and firefox, and IE. What was missing? How to get to browse to the smartcard login without problem? Does this mean adobe flash player?
Appreciate for your help.

I am not sure why your bank would need a strange plug in. None of our financial institutions here (that I know of) do this. They all use standard browser setups. Many easily support Windows 10 and Edge now.
Country specific I suppose. Key fob, card, plain not reunited here.

Hi John,
Try one IE edge on Windows 10, doesn't work

Then you may be somewhere such the plug-in that Mr. Vermaak has suggested will be required.

By adding the given url into trusted sites, and the web page can be browsed without problem. This is the solution.
If you are using Windows 8.1 or earlier, try updating Flash (www.adobe.com).
