Scanner for an office going paperless

So a medical office that I do work for has about "25 boxes" of records they'd like to save on their desktops and otherwise shred and get rid of.  Is there hardware that you can recommend that can take care of this?

Thanks!

A good mid to high range multi page document scanner should do the trick.  How many pages in each box roughly?

I've used Fujitsu document scanners for similar purposes in the past and they performed quite well.  The unit you would choose depends on the volume of scanning that's going to be done, hence my query above.

It's 25 boxes so it sounds like a lot.  Ideally they should be able to load large stacks on documents in it, scan them all at once, and sort and separate all the documents, via software, into groups of PDFs that have been through an OCR.

I looked at a lower-end Fujitsu and it said it can only accommodate 50 pages.  Is there another model you had in mind?
