VMware 6.x file lock error

I am getting an error when consolidating snapshots for a vm:

An error occurred while consolidating disks: msg.fileio.lock.
Consolidation failed for disk node 'scsi0:0': msg.fileio.lock.

Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it.

Do you use Veeam or any other type of backup product ?

Does the Veeam VM have the parent virtual disk still connected to it ?

Remove the disk from Veeam VM.

We use Commvault Simpana v 10
Okay, so if you look at the Commvault VM check it does not have this VM parent disk still attached ?
Just checked with my Backup guy and confirmed VM parent disk is not attached.
Can you screenshot the VM folder of the snapshots ?
