My laptop does not have DVD and I need to format and reinstall windows....

Hello Experts,
I have a laptop HP core i7
it came with windows 10 home

Now i realize it cannot connect to the domain at my work.

I need to FORMAT and REINSTALL WIN 10 PRO ....
but i have no DVD hardare embeded
and getting an external DVD is not possible for a few days..

can I start the installation from a network or another LAPTOP THAT HAS dvd ?
or what can I do ?

You can go to the Media Creation Link

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

and create a bootable USB stick and use that to install Windows 10. Very few Windows 10 machines have DVD, so bootable USB key is the way to do this.

Or buy a key for pro and convert your license in seconds - whatever seems easier.
Remember that whether you make the USB key (will be Home) or purchase the Pro key as suggested, there will be an upgrade charge to do this.

John I have a DVD, if i connect a USB external DVD DRIVE
will it start from there ?
