Samsung S8 Multi app screen
Hello
I understand with the Samsung S8 that there is the ability to view more than one app on the screen at the same time
Some questions
1. I know Mac can do this, can IOS iPhone and iPad
2. When I try this on a Samsung S8, i always seem to get the Settings as the first app and then any other app as the second. How can I get two real apps to run in multi screen

What's the difference between two apps being seen on the same screen and two apps running on the same screen?
For example, if one was an email app and one was a browser, would both apps actually run, that is I can see email coming in and the browser would go to a constantly updating web page like the news?

You need to enable Multi-window feature before you run the first app and run another app afterward to make both apps on the same screen. It was never designed to get two real apps to run in multi-screen. It just let you see both apps at the same time.
