Altaro failing on all hosts and VMs
I Get the following error...
Note that the refernced account does exist, but is not the one the jobs are created with which is an admin user speicifcally used for the task. All was working fine till I upgraded.
I have the backup location, and created new ones (and multiple variations on that theme.
I have upgraded to the latest version (twice).
Note that it seems the original 018 error, is general, the more accurate 027 is reported later...
Any ideas?
The backup operation encountered an error. (Error code 'BASEBACKUPCONTROLLER_018' )
Additional information is available:
None of the backup locations configured for this VM can be connected and written to. (Error code 'LOCATIONPROVIDER_001')
Please check that any required locations are connected and accessible. If you are attempting to use a Network Path or Server Location please ensure that the saved credentials are correct. It is important that the Host upon which the VM resides has access to the locations.
Additional information is available:
Cannot authenticate to the network path: \\10.240.11.80\Altaro-37AC E20466EFA4 FA4F59B1B3 E6080B47$ on domain "WKS-ALTARO1" with user "AltaroUser_7527" (Error code 'HARD_DRIVE_027')

Hi,
You mean backup repositories?? Issues to local disks??
That is new for me, and if is true this is a huge bug. There is no sense a backup server needs to be in shares besides a local repository.
Was this an official statement?? Or just a workaround for your issue?

It worked, the only other comment, simply re arranged the wording of the problem.
If this was after an upgrade, I would double check the user/password to hosts and also user/password that have permissions in the Gusest OS Local Admin Groups.
Just edit those user/permisssions and retype again the password.
