Crystal Report prompts me twice for the same parameter\s

I created a crystal report based on a command.  To speed up the query I have a date parameter in the command User generated image.  This is OK, however I am prompted again for the same date parameters again once report is launched User generated image.

Is there any way I can stop the report requesting the exact same parameters twice?

When does this happen?

If you click refresh do you get 2 prompts or is it only if you edit the command?

Did you create report parameters for the dates or are they just in the command?

Is there a subreport that also prompts for the dates?

It happens every time I run the report.  There are no sub reports - I created the parameters specifically for the command User generated image however they also appear in the list of parameters User generated image

They are supposed to be in the list so you can use the values in the report.

DId you add them to the select expert?

No, I don't use the dates in the select expert as they are used in the command.

I am trying to figure out why you are getting prompted twice.  Having it in the selection is one reason you get prompted twice.

I can't remove it from the selection if I put it in the command.
