Convert PPT 2010 into PPT 2013 - Size of Slides

I'd like to convert a 2010 PPT presentation into 2013.  The size is wider on 2013 and this is what I'm interested in accommodating
What are some quick, easy ways of taking a 2010 PPT file and doing this..

Which version of PowerPoint are you using? If you're using 2010, your content will distort when you do this. If you're using PPT 2013 or 2016, then it won't (but your backgrounds will).

PPT 2013/2016
1. Open the PPT file
2. On the Design tab, click Slide Size | Widescreen
3. The slide will resize. Your content will not distort, but your background graphics (like logos on the slide master, etc) will.
4. To fix the background graphics, copy all the slides and paste them into your 16x9 slide template. Either that or go to slide master view and fix all the background graphics by hand.

Alternatively, you can copy-paste CONTENT rather than resizing slides. If you are using PPT 2010 (where all graphics will distort when you change slide size), this is the technique to use:
1. Open your 16:9 file
2. Open your 4:3 file
3, Select a slide in the 4:3 file
4. Select all content on the slide (CTRL+A)
5. Copy it (CTRL+C)
6. In the widescreen file, select a slide and CTRL+V to paste all the content onto a new slide
7. On the Home tab, choose Layout and select an appropriate layout and click Reset to reapply the placeholder positions as needed.

To create a widescreen template in the new size:
1. Open a new, blank file. If you're using PPT 2013 or 2016, it will be sized as 7.5 x 13.33
2. if you're using PPT 2010, resize it to 7.5 x 13.33, which is the size of a PPT 2013/2016 slide.
   2a. In PPT 2010 use Design | Page Setup | Custom and input 7.5 x 13.33.
2b. Don't choose PPT 2010's widescreen size, because, while it is the same 16:9 aspect ratio, its actual SIZE is different (It's 5.63 x 10.)
3. Format the slide masters or copy-paste the background graphics from your 4:3 slide masters to the 16:9 masters. They will not be distorted if you do this, but you will need to rearrange them for the 16:9.

I don't want to distort the content. What I would like is for the content to sit --as is-- on the new --larger-- slide without having the pictures, etc. distort.

I realize that I may have to move graphics and text around a bit but I don't mind. I just want to have the newer slide size for the larger monitors.
Gotcha. Which version of PowerPoint are you actually working in?
I'm working at two locations:
Location one:  I'm using PPT 2013 and am opening and converting 2010 decks for someone who is working and presenting in wide-screen PPT 2013. So, I need to convert 2010 standard format slides into wide screen 2013 slides.
Location two:  I'm using PPT version 2010 opening PPT 2010 files. I'm converting decks to be presented in wide screen for someone who is working in PPT 2013. So, I need to convert 2010 into 2013.
