ICND-2 (CCNA)

Hi All,
I passed my ICND-1 about 2 weeks ago and now preparing for my ICND-2. ICND-1 was not an easy exam and I can only imagine that ICND-2 will be even tougher, I did not do a lot of lab work for ICND-1 but  have a pretty good idea that I need to spend a good amount of time on labs, specially on OSPF and EIGRP labs. What are some of the resources you have used and what are some topics that need some extra attention, I couldn't believe that STP is such a big topic in ICND-2.

STP is a huge deal in many exams. :)
For ICND2 packet tracer should be sufficient. What I can recommend is CBT nuggets videos (free trial or one month payed period should be enough) and CCNA Routing and Switching ICND2 200-105 Official Cert Guide. OSPF and EIGRP are still easy at ICND2 level. My recommendation would be to focus more on theory, basic network principles and technologies than on labs... Sure you need labs, but those are generally easy (even at CCNP level are easy) and since configs are interesting - typically it is easy to remember commands and outputs of show commands...
You can also use GNS3, EVE-NG (previously UNL) etc for labs (Cisco IOS images are needed for those).
I setup up an home lab--- what you will need is
(2) 2600 router
(2) 2900 or 3500 catalyst switch
(3-4) 2501 serial router

This along with a GNS3 setup for more advance routing if you're looking to advance--- however GNS3 no longer provides ios you would have to purchase/supply your own.

The above equipment will do for ICND-1 and 2 amount other things.
hours of lap practice setup and tear down
