GPO MSI Install Fail

I'm trying to install an msi through GPO. It fails on my test box with error code 1274 in the event log. DC is 2008r2, test box is Windows 7. Any ideas?

What is the full error message and not just the error number?

"The assignment of application Lightspeed Systems User Agent (x64) v2.01.14 from policy App Deploy Test failed.  The error was : %%1274"

Event ID is 101
Are you trying to deploy the application via the computer configuration or user configuration section of the gpo?
Computer config. See screen shot.

Can u check and make sure the gpo setting always wait for network is enabled. I've found this to be helpful when enforcing computer configuration policies.

I don't have a system folder under Administrative Templates. See screen shot:

What is the server you're running 2008r2 or 2012 or 2016?
2008r2. I put that in the original question.
Something is not right with your GPO.  Can you recreate and verify in a new one?  It is there for me..

I tried creating a new one, I still don't have a System folder like you do:

It's working now.

I had to go here to download the installer for the ADMX files.

This page helped too to make sure the adml files were in the right place too.

I now have access to the System folder under Administrative Templates
