Office 2010 with 16
Can we install office 2010 excel only component on full suite of office 2016? some of our excel application formulas don't work in 2016 hence require 2010 urgently.

Try what I suggested about installing just Excel. There is just no guarantee it will work.

ok, the only concern was that will it corrupt 2016 in anyway.
That is the part that cannot be guaranteed. Microsoft does not support this.
As far as I know (and I don't have any links or documentation handy), Microsoft does support multiple versions of office installed on the same system. HOWEVER, they must be the same bit level (32 bit or 64 bit; not both) AND only one version of Outlook is supported at a time.
I'd further add that if corruption did occur, you should be able to perform a repair install of Office 2016.
So then try installing just only Excel (as per above posts) and see what happens. It works for some and not all.
