Why can't I create partition of unallocated space?
Hi all,
I get this error when creating a partition with MS Disk Management in Windows 10:
The operation you selected will convert the selected basic disk/s to dynamic disk/s. If you convert the disk/s to dynamic , you will not be able to start installed operating systems from any volume on the disk/s ( except the current boot volume ). Are you sure you want to continue?
I do not understand why that is.

I needed to enlarge the volume of C.
I succeeded with the solution of Seth.
I deleted the 8GB partition (hibernation partition) and created a new partition on the unallocated and used EaseUS partition master. Somehow that failed, so I used AOMEI partition assistant and was able to expand volume C to the max.
