What consideration to take in account when restoring an old Backup sets into Windows 10 Pro
We have to restore data from an old backup set made with an old Windows version; the backups were made in 2007 - don't know what version Windows it was backed up in but based on Windows Timeline could be Windows 7. We would EE advice on how to correctly restore these backups into a current Windows 10 O.S. version.

You can. You didn't mention that you used the built-in backup.
See if it allows to restore single folders. It should.

Yes, in 2007 the backup was apps used was Windows built-in, no third party (the apps created a series of files for 1 backup).
We going to be doing this tonight.
So to close the question, we should run the current Windows 10 builtin backup/restore apps as-is on the backup set done in 2007 with Windows 7 or XP? No special consideration?
