Combobox not working properly

I have a combobox whose rowsource is a query. It should display 4 columns. The problem is that when it is first run the 4th column does not display. If I close the form and reopen then the 4th column will display. I've determined that the query is correct but the column returns a null value. I have tried requery but it doesn't help.
Thanks
Ray

After a week of banking my head I think I solved it. Just not sure if it is a proper solution. Instead of setting the rowsource property in  combobox2, I set it by vba code from the combo box1 that is supposed to fill combobox2

First, if it worked as you expect, then that  gets you working while finding/verifying a solution to the issue.

Then, defining two combos is mainly to limit the rowsource  of second combo related to a a certain value in combo1.

But saying that a combo with a set rowsource does not work as you expect unless close the form and reopen is ambiguous.

If you need a help to verify your approach, try to recreate the issue through a simple database. By doing so, you may spot the problem, otherwise upload the simple database.

Thanks, I will create a sample database to test it.
