VMware 6.0 not detechting Secondary Smart Array P400
Hello all,
I have a HP server DL 580 G5, running VMware vSphere 6 Essentials HP Custom version.
The hardware has 2 RAID controllers Smart Array P400. See attach.
Vsphere for some reason can only see the Embedded RAID controller and not the Controller in Slot 10.
I've tried to install the drivers manually but it doesn't seem to work.
However, If I install VMware version 5.5 it can see the controller in Slot 10.
Can some one point me or instruct me on how to inject or install the correct driver for RAID Controller in Slot 10?
I've included a few attachments. The one in question is vmhba4
Pls let me know if you need more information.
Thanks,
Fernando

Are all these devices on the HCL for 6.0 ?

What is HCL?
Check the VMware Hardware Compatability Lists HCL here
The VMware Hardware Compatibility List is the detailed lists showing actual vendor devices that are either physically tested or are similar to the devices tested by VMware or VMware partners. Items on the list are tested with VMware products and are known to operate correctly.Devices which are not on the list may function, but will not be supported by VMware.

Thank you all. I will investigate and report back sometime today.
Do you require any more additional help from Expert Exchange Experts, so you have the knowledge to be able to select a solution and close the question, which is the expected behaviour at Experts Exchange when a Question has been asked.

After researching the information posted by other users I discovered that it was much easier to use an older version than to move forward with the latest update
