Netgear Genie R6400 - Does router support 1gb speed?
Hi Experts,
I have this router setup and ports 3 and 4 give me only 100mbps and those two are the only ports flashing red but I have connectivity on the workstations. The workstations do have 1GB nics but I only see them at 100mbps. Is there anything I need to change on the router to make these two ports supports 1000MBPS?

With this router on 802.11ac you can reach speed up to 1750Mbps.
How is your cabling? CAT5 includes 8 conductors. (4 pair). Whill 100Mb uses 4 conductors, Gigibit requires all 8. Poor RF performance, crappy cabling, or overlength cable runs can also prevent Gigabit connections from working, while 100Mb is fine.
"Splitters" only support 100Mb, Gigabit will always fail with these in place.
Maybe try a "known good" 2M Cat5 flylead temporarily?

If you visit https://Speedtest.net you can test your speeds various places in your network to determine problem source.
Start with hard wired Ethernet cables + make sure you're actually receiving 1G from upstream provider, then switch to WiFi + ensure you still get 1G.
Best to debug networking one step at a time.
