Windows 10 machine loses focus during remote desktop session
I have a Windows 10 machine that loses focus during remote desktop session. Every few seconds, the window i'm working with becomes inactive.
What window goes in front of the session? And are you moving your mouse into that other session?

no window pops up. the mouse and keyboard are not moving.
You say it is one machine.
Try running System File Checker. Open cmd.exe with Run as Administrator and run SFC /SCANNOW. Allow to complete and restart.
Also (and potentially more important): Update BIOS, Chipset and Video drivers.

It appears to only happen when using a remote desktop connection.
Check the video settings of RDP. Open RDP and select Show Options. Perhaps change some of the Display options. That also points to Video Driver, so you should update that along with Chipset.
Describe that more thoroughly, please. You have one or two monitors while you connect via RDP?
If one: do you use RDP in full screen?
If two: does the other screen get focus (to test, maximize explorer on the other screen and see if its window gets active).

Hi Roosterup. For the benefit of others who have the same problem as you, were you able to identify what the specific problem was?
After months of working remotely, I've been battling the exact same problem for the last couple of weeks. It suddenly just appeared.
