Totals for each column in a group
data in SSRS shows like this as below-
Can someone please help me how to get the totals as for BB-1,BB-2 ,Ac-1 ,Ac-2 below -
Country Type Names Aug 2015 Sep 2015 ..........................
US A BB-1 1000 10 100
BB-2 10 100 50

I am performing the above function in a matrix in SSRS. I am using the running value function between the dates Aug-2015 to Jan -2017 for BB-1,BB-2 ,Ac-1 ,Ac-2. But i want the totals to take the value in rows for BB1,BB-2 etc created at run time. Type column needs to be displayed too.
If i created another matrix what will be the parent and child group?
BB-1 A 1100 110 120
BB-2 A 110 105 160
AC-1 B 110 30 50
AC-2 B 55 20 300

Hmm ... Don't know if a tablix can have multiple sets of group footers, in this case one grouped by Country-Type and one grouped by Names.
Guessing you can't do that in a matrix.
So .. you'll still likely have to go the second data set route.

i am not sure what you mean by second data set route?
i am already using matrix to group and get the first set of data that i have posted above. need help to get the second set of data for Totals correctly.

Add another data source that queries the same data but groups on the Names BB-1,BB-2 ,Ac-1 ,Ac-2. Then make that the data source for the added tablix.
