Microsoft Exchange 2010 - Manage Full Access Permission

Hi,

in our Exchange Server 2010 , we used to have an user email account (User A) with 'Manage Full Access Permission' with another email account (User B). But suddenly isn't working anymore. For some reason the user A is able to see the second user B email account on their Outlook, but the User A can't send an email for that second account B. Could you guys help me with a solution for that problem. I've even tried to add that user with the privilege 'Manage Send As Permission' and continue to show a message: "You can't send a message on behalf of this user unless you have permission to do so."

Thank you.

wooh... restarting Information store for a permission issue, that I have heard for the first time

By the way, permissions are added to the AD object, so AD replication matters when it comes to permissions on Exchange Objects.

Could you test if the user can send email as other user using "send as" permissions from the OWA?

if owa works fine then the permissions have not sync with the client, else permissions are not setup correctly i would suggest cross check permissions, you can setup them using the EMC.

i have seen such issues where outlook was in cache mode, some time cache profile outlook takes much longer time for the permissions to take effect to mitigate this you can turn off cache mode for a min and then setup back that will refresh the permissions on the outlook.
Hi Rafael,

Check if the user is not member of Protected Group. If you are in a protected group, it can remove SendAs permissions.

As Sunil told you...permissions in Active Directory can take some time to replicate.

Add the permission "send on behalf"  to check after adding this permission if you can send the email

Valentina
