Adsense - my new site ads don't work, why?
Hi
My new blog is ready and needs ads. New ads aren't working.
The Ad name appears where the ad should appear, but no image.
Maybe it is because - my new site hasn't been approved? - Adsense account needs to be updated with a 'new Site' section and its purpose / URL / etc
What needs changing? My last blog worked easily
Thanks

Maybe they check for theme purchase payment? I think I may have paid for something.
Trademarks, etc are in the pipeline. - I enjoy politics these days!
The ad in question is at the bottom right menu column, 'SIDEBARAD1TITLE'
My site is here

Where do I find my publisher number / string?
What about the "slot" field?
What is private browsing?
Do I have to set up my account in a way such as to prompt it to display political ads? or does Adsense determine that from content alone?

Hi
Where exactly do I paste the code from Adsense?
In the widgets, in the content?
It sometimes just prints the code in text areas, or the data member name.
For the main content area, and both side spaces?
Thanks
The Godaddy line couldn't assist with anything other than the simple questions.

Did you already log in to your adsense account and set up your ad. There is a Get Code link and that will be all you need.

I do that, but wherever I place the code, it doesn't work.
If I paste it in a menu box, it prints the data member name
If I paste it in a text box, it prints the text of the code
What is the right way, say to paste it in the code, not the content? to execute the code?

The code you are given from AdSense gets paste and right into your HTML

I don't see where your adsense code is even loaded now.

I apologize, I was testing so much, it was left below in the user comments, - just testing.

There are many possibilities. I would start with clearing your cache or using private browsing as noted https://support.google.com/adsense/troubleshooter/7049023?visit_id=1-636343660466684387-4080763429&rd=1
