keyboard typing letter and number same time
I just had this start happening today. My keyboard is typing some letters with numbers with them. for example a1 or e3 and so on. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver and made sure i had no virus or any updates needing to be done. This is a desktop not laptop. It is cyborg gaming keyboard. I tried a different keyboard and this one works fine. So i assume it is either something with the driver on old one or physical issue. I just think the keyboard is shot but i wanted more opinions before i trash it and spend money on a new one. Thanks for the help.

A keyboard can print a number where a letter might be because of Num Lock.

But if the keyboard is registering 2 characters with one push, it probably (99%) needs to be replace.

Try gently blowing out lint under the keys.

yea i tried to turn num lock off didnt change it. i only see things to try online for laptops nothing for desktop keyboards thats why i figured it might be on the way out. someone said hold both shifts for a few seconds that seemed to make it worse it was only a couple keys doing it but after doing that there are a few more. Β but yes its doing both with one punch. i hit E and i get e3 printed.

A desktop computer is a personal computer designed for use at a single location due to its size and power requirements, usually by one person. The most common configuration has a case that houses the power supply, motherboard, disk storage (usually one or more hard disk drives and optical disc drives); a keyboard and mouse for input; and computer monitor and printer for output. The case may be oriented horizontally and placed atop a desk or vertically and placed underneath or beside a desk.
