Hi Experts,

We are running nightly onsite backups for our server (DC + File Server) using Veeam, and I want to store an offsite copy of these backups on AWS. What AWS Service should i go for? Do you have any documentation or KBs i can refer to for setting this up?

OVH Storage Servers are way cheaper than AWS.

Since these machines are unlimited bandwidth, tough to beat price wise.

Their sales page is a bit difficult to decipher. Their bandwidth options relate to max continuous speed of adapter, rather data download volume.

AWS Storage Gateway supports backup applications from Veeam. You can use these to backup and archive with a Storage Gateway Virtual Tape Library (VTL) to S3 and Glacier storage. Veeam sees the AWS Storage Gateway as a local Repository.

Hi Nishant,

What are you looking to do provide Off-site cold storage, replication for DR...?

Veeam has partners which provide Off-site DR straight from your Veeam console: https://www.veeam.com/find-a-veeam-cloud-provider.html
