VMware Windows 2012R2 VM Operating System Problem

Hello Experts,

I have created a VM using guides from EE. However, when I power on the VM and access the console I get the following error message:

Can someone let me know where I might be going wrong?

Hi Andrew,

The VM is now up thanks. However, I'm getting the screen shown in the image. I thought that as this OS was an evaluation copy I wouldn't need to add a product key.

The VM is BOOTED, and you will need to enter an evaluation key, if that is the ISO you have.

I would refer to Microsoft, or place of ISO origin.
Hi Andrew,

Thanks for responding.

I got the evaluation from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/evaluate-windows-server-2012-r2

I thought Microsoft would provide the evaluation on this page?
You will have to look through the documentation and guides.

This is beyond the scope of the original question which has been answered. e.g. ISO not booting.
OK, mate.

Once again you've been great.

Thanks
