HPE G9 Intelligent Provisioning question
Set up eth0 on server with an IP address for Intelligent Provisioning to dial home to check for firmware, etc updates. However, I want to use Eth0 with a few other NIC ports to create a LACP link to the switch with the IP that I used for Intelligent Provisioning. The OS is VMWare.
I can't seem to be able to remove the IP information. Only thing I've found is to disable Intelligent Provision (not recommended).
Questions
If I configure the ports (including Eth0) with the same IP address as the VMWare management IP, will this cause IP conflict or some other network incident?
Or since I cannot remove the IP address, should I just assign a different IP to a different server Ethernet port that will not be used for LACP or networking purposes?
Please advise.

Would the only way to remove the IP from the Intelligent Provision be disabling it in the BiOS, and the re-enabling it?

Thank you for your assistance.
Using the same IP address as your OS (VMware) shouldn't cause a problem since they aren't both running at the same time although you would have to temporarily disable LACP on the switch while using IP.
