DW CC Configuration Color

Hi there!

I use DD CC for a while, and I cannot find the place in which I could change the "brown" automatic color that a code line receive when the line is clicked.

Could someone tell me step-by-step where this $*#*@(@#*  could be found?

Thanks A LOT!

Yikes! That looks awful. And I can't figure out how you got that color. If I use a light interface, my code highlights with a light blue. Nonetheless, try this:

Go to Edit > Preferences > Highlighting. Is that color among those shown in the panel? If so, change it here. If not...

Go to Edit > Preferences > Interface. Change the theme or create a new one and edit it. There are a lot of styles spec'd in the main.less file, so the easiest way to find that brown might be to eyedropper it to get the hex code and then search for that.

There are more details here if you're working with mixed code files:

Hi, Colleen.

Thanks for your help.

First suggestion: that color is not there.

Second suggestion: I am able to find/create a new theme, and I was able to open the main.less file, but I cannot find the color (there are many there) and I don´t know how to use the eyedropper, although I understand what it is. If I where using the fireworks, I could use the eyedropper, but how can I use it in dreamweaver, please?

Perfect, Colleen.

I have chosen the "Solarized" one... very good!

Thanks a lot!

Glad I could help. That brown reminds me of a certain emoji... ;-)
Thanks again, Colleen.

I know what a emoji is, but I have no idea about your joke because I do not know many of them...  :(     :)

fskilnik.

Ops... LoL...   :)
