Veeam 8.0.0.2084 Free
Hi Experts
I use Veeam 8.0 Free only Tape function and MS SQL express installed on the Windows 2012 R2 Server.
today i got error, related SQL Server max 10Gb place.
is there a way i can solve this Problem.I reduced sometape Job which are not need any more.But not help.
error:SQL server is not available.
Could not allocate a new page for database 'VeeamBackup' because of insufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY'.
Create the necessary space by dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.
The statement has been terminated.

Database properties > Files and change the Filegroup's autogrowth to x.. MB and maxsize unlimited.

Hi,
As long as you use SQL express, the limitation (10GB) still stands even though you upgrade to Veeam 9 or 9.5. You can try this method https://mcisaacit.com/2015/07/10/how-to-reduce-veeam-one-database-size/ in order to reduce the DB size.

Apologies this is not possible in sql express , the limit for sql express is 10GB.

Thank you so much for the answers, i would like to ask something ,actually i use Veeam v8 Free only for Tape Job nothing else.
I have a only 4 tape Jobs on the Veeam free.
if i uninstall and install v9,5 ,what can happen with tapes? accually they are on the tapes isnt.? can i later use restore if i Need some data or files from this tapes which written veeam v 8 on veeam v 9?

It's a limitation of SQL express not an issue with Veeam. Either drop the existing SQL db and create a new one and assign the new DB to Veeam.
