asked on
exporting PC names from excel to group policy
Hello all,
We have about 50 computer names in excel, and we want to exclude form group policy.
We already have 20 PC excluded from group policy using wmi filter in AD
So is there any script that can include more 50 PC's to wmi filter?
Thanks

Yes, add them to a group and exclude the group vi WMI filter, item filter or security filter

You can literally add ; to entries in Excel and copy it to the group add dialogue
=A1 & ";"

I am using
SELECT NAME FROM Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE NOT (Name LIKE 'comp1-%')
