Remove Exchange Server 2007 from EAC following migration to 2013

Following a migration from Exchange 2007 to 2013, the 2007 server has Exchange removed and everything is running fine. The one outstanding thing is it still shows up in EAC under Servers and under Virtual Directories. I'm not sure what steps were missed, but would like to clean this up even if just to look good. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Did you have shutdown the server around a month and you did not see issues?

Normally the best practice will be to uninstall Exchange from "Programs and Features" in the server, this way you uninstall correctly. Always the best is to shutdown, check that no issues are coming.

Viktor- The server has been shut down about 3 months and no issues. Exchange was uninstalled from Programs and Features.
Hi,

Normally if the uninstallation was completed,it should remove all the Exchange entries (server, virtual directories,..). Did you have an error when you uninstalled?

The last option that you have, you will need to remove from ADSI edit.

Viktor
I expected it to be removed, I am not sure why it did not. I don't remember an error. What are the ADSI edits to be made?
