patching fails

My suggestion is first clean up the tomcat6 problems.

First yum-complete-transaction then remove all tomcat6 packages, till your machine comes to a consistent state.

Then install libicu-devel (which appears to be missing) + then install R-core-devel.

i had to enable  a repo. i found solution myself.
