Is there a way to uninstall a program that does not show in conrtol panel?

Some software especially filter applications the developers somehow manage to hide it from showing up in the list of program at the uninstall list, is there a way to delete them without need to contact the vendor?

Are you certain it is installed and installed properly?

1. It may have come with no installer (happens) and in that case you can simply delete the program. I have some like this.

2. It may have not installed correctly. What I do there is install again and then uninstall.

3. Are you sure the vendor is hiding it?  I do not see this. Only drivers do not show up

I would certainly contact the vendor before making changes.

Radhakrishnan R thank you for your offer I emailed you a link
I am sure the vendor is hiding it. since thy don't want the end user to uninstall it without calling them. as I call them thy connect to the computer and uninstalls it.

Any developer/vendor can create an installer that cannot be uninstalled by simply not following best practices. Is application installation an MSI or EXE?
Thanks for that. I do not and we (clients) do not allow such misbehaved software. Not worth it.
You would not know until you want to uninstall it. Your favourite AV SEP is notoriously known for this behaviour
Take this for a exemple http://www.livigent.com/ you need a code from them to uninstall it (I called them but thy will only talk to the tech that installed it and he is no more with us). it not listed in control panel, I found the program folder in the user appdata (instead of in the program file folder) happens to be I have the paid version of RevoUninstaller I forced a uninstall (by pointing to the folder) and deleted all leftovers and it is still there
Does Hunter Mode in Revo help or is there no evidence of it in Explorer?  Or services.msc?

EDIT: just spotted it's a netfilter, why was it installed in the first place? Most netfilters are by design hidden and hook into iptables to allow content filtering and management.
Without an authorised uninstall reinstalling the OS is probably the only other approach to guarantee successful removal.  Most netfilter companies offer support as part of the deal, why not get them to remove it?
Have no idea

It does not show in WinInstall LE
Did you use WinInstall LE to create a pre- and post snapshot?
There are some methods that may work, but I did not test them since I used revouninstaller it helped me fined where the file and did some un installation but did leave some leftover, at this point I cannot test anymore other tools
