Uploading spreadsheet to Google Docs

Hi,

I uploaded an XLSX file to Google docs but can't open it.

When I click directly on the file,, the browser hangs.
When I try to open with Google Sheets, I'm told the file is too large...but it is definitely no.t

What could cause the above issues?

Hi Colleen. Thanks for checking in. As it turned out, we decided minutes ago to scrub the idea of using Google Sheets....b/c of the error I mentioned.

That said, I'm tagging your comment as a solution in acknowledgement of the time you spent. :)

Thank you, Steve. If you need to share/collaborate with external users, you might check out OneDrive and Excel Online. You can work on a file in the desktop app and collaborate in real time with another user, also working on the desktop app or in Excel Online, if the file is stored on OneDrive.

Thanks, Colleen. :) We have been trying OneDrive; however, (at least according to what I was told) there are issues when two users are in the doc at once. e.g. My boss (Tom) has it open. I open it and am told it's locked by "Tom Smith". That said, I don't know if Tom was using Excel online, or Excel in MS Office.

If there's a workaround to that issue, I'd love to know.
